Though, I have to disagree on the pol...Good stuff! Though, I have to disagree on the polenta=grits. They are similar in origin, but quite different in taste. I doubt I could eat polenta with a sunny side up egg. Also, my cooker(same one) keeps things warm for an infinite amount of time. I think it is most likely recommended 8 hours or less for taste and quality, but if you don't press reset at that point or before, the NS-LAC05 keeps whatever is in there warm. I've also heard of cooking risotto in rice cookers.
